This picture really captures our little 2 year old's fun spirit. Although she's very mercurial, when she's happy and in a good mood it's like nothing else. She has so much energy and flits from here to there. She's developing a sense of humor and has figured out she can make Mommy and Daddy laugh. In this picture she was outside enjoying the last warm day before more snow & ice hit. I had to use my flash (which I don't normally use) and she thought it made me look funny as I held the camera up to my face. The wild curls are all Zoe!

This is what Zoe looks like if I have to wake her up from her nap. She would probably sleep 4 hours during the day if we let her (and then never want to sleep at night). Her attitude usually matches her facial expression- grumpy!

One day Zoe will kill me for posting this I'm sure...

When Zoe poops, she finds a surface waist high and leans on it slightly while making a very distinct facial expression. She got a cool new kitchen for Christmas and we finally put it together. I was photographing her playing with it for the first time when I noticed her body language suddenly changed. She didn't want her picture taken anymore and I knew why. I'll always look at this picture and laugh.

Only Moms know how precious the 'poop face' is!

Zoe was bored so she constructed 'steps'. Behind the box of wipes is a smaller box. She was enjoying walking up and down the steps and would shout "Ta Da"when she got on top of the wipes box.

Until I have time to write a proper blog entry, pictures from my project 365 will have to do.
This picture is from Day 4 (January 4).
I set Penny on Zoe's bed so I could change Zoe's diaper. After she had a clean diaper, she jumped on her bed to play with Penny. In this pic she's preparing to put the hat on Penny's head. Penny is rooting around looking for something to eat.
